We need volunteers!!
If you are interested in fostering or volunterring and have not yet submitted an application, please do so! We would love to have you as part of our Team!
Foster Application
Our organization is 100% volunteer, nothing gets done without our fabulous volunteers. We are in desperate need of good Foster homes for our kitties. We supply everything! We have all kinds of positions available, all positions are important so any of your time is appreciated. Here are some examples:
- Cat care at Pet Smart
- Feeding, watering, scooping litter, sweeping out cages and playing with the cats
- Shifts are one day (AM or PM) every other week
- Multiple days are welcome but not obligatory
- Helping with adoptions on Saturdays
- 10:00am-2:00pm but generally need people for 1/2 shifts
- Setting up and closing
- Introducing families to their potential pets
- Filling out adoption paperwork with the adoptors
- Helping to answer questions for people who walk up
- Helping fosters set up their cats and kittens into display cages
- Shopping with adopters
- Sanitizing crates and display cages
- Visiting and keeping cats company
- Adoption Call Backs (no animal contact but cat knowledge needed)
- Call back adopters to see how everything is going and offer advice if there are issues
- Computer jobs (no animal contact)
- Registering microchips
- Entering Intakes and Available cat information
- Foster Supplies (no animal contact)
- Receive orders and fill for foster pick up
- Inventory (no animal contact)
- Help with inventory at our two storage units
- Help when we receive large pallets to move items into storage units
- Transportation
- Helping to take cats to appointments
