Vernor is a special needs boy.  This handsome golden eyed boy with the sleek black coat and is very affectionate and scrambles to be near his person. He gives kisses. The problem is he is a ‘wobbly cat’ - one who suffered a neurological insult as a young kitten.  His doctor calls it cerebellar hypoplasia - it isn’t contagious.  Vernor uses his litter box like a pro, although his method is unusual.  He can feed and groom himself and gets in and out of his bed.  He has a little bit of a head bob when he tries to focus on something.  His front legs are strong and his back legs work - but his balance is affected so he can’t coordinate his back legs.  He can’t walk.  He tries so hard but overcompensates and rolls over a lot.  He gets where he tries to go but it takes awhile.  He love toys and playing like any other kitten.  He has an awesome continuous purr when he sees his person and is a good lap sitter. Vernor is used to dogs but doesn’t interact with them.  He tries to interact with the cat in the foster home but the cat isn’t interested.  Vernor would so love a home of his own and a special person who could accept his uniqueness.
