Emerald is a female grey tabby with flecks of orange in her coat but I call her Emmy.

 
Emmy is super sweet and literally follows me everywhere.  She rubs up against everything and loves to roll on the ground for attention.  Emmy plays with my dog and is playful with toys.  Emmy especially loves scratches behind her ears.  She is litter trained and easily directed when I gently direct her to house rules.  Emmy loves to be picked up and petted but loves to move a lot so she is not YET a great lap cat. She is so gentle, I suspect she will someday be a good lap cat and also good with kids. She purrs all the time.
