Zane was surrendered due to owner being unable to care for her due to loss of job.  We were also told that his personality is quiet and shy. He seems to be bonded to his mate, Zive. When handling him at intake, he was not aggressive (no biting, growling or hissing) in any way.  Previous owner said that he had had Zane for 3 years. 

The home he was rescued from had other cats and a small dog. 

Only after 3 hours of having his life turned upside down, Zane crawled onto my lap.  He was shaking and hiding his face.  But he seems okay.  He is such a gentle giant!
