Max and his brother, Peanut, are two of the nicest, most polite cats you will ever meet.  Never bite, scratch, hiss, growl or otherwise misbehave.  They've had a rough go of it this year:  Their sole owner suffered a traumatic head injury and the cats were left virtually alone for quite a while, other than occasionally receiving food, water and litter box cleaning from a neighbor.  They have become very bonded.  Max is the more outgoing of the pair, and loves the laser pointer and (interestingly) the stick end of the fishing toy.  Max also LOVES to get his tummy rubbed and will turn right over on his back for it.  He has the cutest freckle right on his nose!  Due to their circumstances, we are seeking a mature single or couple with a quiet home and no other pets to give this pair all the love and attention they deserve.  And they really do deserve it.  They are sweet, sweet boys who will capture you heart and become loving companions for years to come.
