Meet Kira, a very sociable young lady with a long silky black coat.  Kira's owner had to give her up because she went into assisted living and could not take Kira with her.  Kira's foster mom tells us she is very outgoing, not shy at all, and will even greet you at the door.  She craves getting petted and purrs and talks to let you know how much she likes it.  She is great with being picked up and is becoming a very good lap sitter as well.  Kira needs a home where she will be the only cat as she is not fond of other kitties. She would be perfect for an older person or couple who wants a loving companion!
