Have you ever been lonely when you are in the bathroom? If so, Mietzi is the kitty for you! She goes where ever you go and has no sense of privacy. She loves her people and wants to be with you no matter where we are or what we are doing.
She is gentle and loves attention. She doesn’t have much to say and has ninja skills to surprise you. The only time she talks is when she think you are giving too much attention to another kitty and not her. She gets along great with her younger kitty friends and adores our resident older cat. She has taken a motherly role to the younger ones. She will help clean them and lets  them eat first.
She loves to explore but will check in with you to make sure she is okay. She even tries to be an acrobat but she is not the most graceful at jumping. That doesn’t stop her from trying to get the string toys. She is a wonderful kitty. Mietzi loves to cuddle and is the first one to greet us.

BACK STORY:  she had  a rough start before coming to LOCRA. She had eye surgery and they were not sure if they could save it. Luckily, with the amazing vets and our volunteer’s care, her eye was saved. She does have some scar tissue but she is able to see and doesn’t bother her at all.

You can meet some of our adorable cats and kittens during store hours at PetSmart, 385 Haggerty Rd. in Commerce Township.
