Honeybun is a six month old female kitten with Balinese coloring and markings. She was brought in from the cold by a friendly person who had been feeding her on the back porch over the fall. She is making great strides in becoming a wonderful house cat considering she has only been indoors for 2 weeks. She is a great lap cat already but has only just begun her journey as a kitten who loves toys. She spent her first week hiding under couches but if you picked her up she would sit in your lap for hours or take a nap with you. The second week she has come out of hiding and will sit on the couch while people are around. Today, for the fist time, she met me at the door when I came home! She will need a quieter household with people who are willing to still work with her and understand when she has a skittish moment. She has not hissed or shown any aggression towards people, rather she is shy and hesitant. She loves other cats and is curious about dogs. If you have the patience to help her on her journey she will become one of those cats that everyone comments on and wishes they had one like her.
