Meet Maui!
 

Maui was born on July 12th of this year, he was named after the Disney movie Moana, and named Maui because when he was born, his mother left him outside the nest, and didn't clean him off. He was dying outside before he even got to meet his family. Luckily his foster mom woke up in time and found him, and she was able to save him! Maui is the second main character in the movie, and he is the demi-god of the wind and sea. Known for being incredibly strong and resilient, Maui (the kittens), foster mom wanted him to have the best chance at a healthy and good life, that is why she chose that name! Maui is a wee little bug, and it is strange, all of his 5 siblings and his mom are shorthaired, but ever since he was little he has been a puff ball! His fur is beautifully long and luscious, and it makes him easy to recognize out of the group! As opposed to his siblings, he isn't as snuggly as the others, he doesn't love being petted, and would much rather play than snuggle. However he does like to sit on his humans lap off on the side. He likes a head scratch, but Maui is much more independent, just like his mama! That however makes him a great cat for a family who just wants a quiet addition to their household, he is very gentle, and a bit timid, so chances are low that you would find him scratching up your legs trying to climb you like a tree! Maui loves his treats, his favorite is churu liquid meat treats. Maui's perfect family would be one who loves him for who he is, a gentle little guy.
