This little sweetie was scooped up by a kind soul who noted that the mama cat, while moving her kittens from under this person's deck, did not return for this little guy. Zukki means moon in Japanese and he was named this due to the sliver of moon on his forehead. He's had a rough road. First orphaned, then he caught an eye infection that caused him to have his eye removed. Zukki never lets this get him down. He quickly became the leader of a little group of foster kittens, checking on the and caring for them. They looked to Zukki for guidance when a dog visited the foster home. Zukki loved the dog so all the kittens loved the dog, too. Zukki is full of energy and quite independent. However he does get "love attacks" where he interrupts his independence with the need to jump up, purrs all over you and requires petting. Zukki is one special character!
