Max should have been name Max-a-million, because he is a "one in a million" super sweet cat. He had been brought in as a stray 8 years ago, neutered and 4 paw declawed and now has found himself without his family.  They said he was having issues using his litter box. We made sure his behavior issues weren't due to his declawing as is often the case.  However he not only got a clean bill of health from our doctor at Wixom Family Pet Practice, he has been an excellent cat for the two different fosters he has been with for the past 2-3 weeks. He loves his toys but mostly loves to be around people.  His current fosters have 2 cats of their own.  They report that he would be fine in a household with cats as long as they give him time to warm up.  It took about a week for him to get comfy with the others.  They do think that younger children would be too stressful for him(apparently a new baby in the former owner's household started the issues with Max).  So we would recommend older kids, adults as a good fit.

While he is not a "lap" cat per se, he is very fond of belly rubs, and loves to be brushed.  So if you're in the market for unconditional love, Max would be your one in a million.
