Jean-Louise Finch, (15 weeks old DSH brown tabby female), was born with her sisters Maudie & Calpurnia on a boat, and has been bottle fed and nurtured by hand since she was 3 weeks old, and raised around other cats and dogs. Her name was chosen as the main character and narrator in “To Kill A Mockingbird”, because she simply is the most fun-loving, spunky, athletic tomboy girl we could ever imagine! Just like her character in the novel, Jean-Louise is wicked-smart, she adores to chase lasers or climb anything and everything, is the perfect playmate to her siblings in teaching them how to be brave and do things, she has a very special soft-spot for her “adopted daddy” Atticus—they are inseparable and cuddle constantly, she sleeps in the crook of his arm. She has the largest, roundest, melt-your-heart eyes; you must see them in person. She is curious about the world and how things work, and loves to explore, inquire, and soak up all that life has to offer, including playing and snuggling with her humans, who fascinate her! She wants you to know that she has one (adorable) condition that comes with her adoption that she must reluctantly but truthfully admit: Jean-Louise is a die-hard “Bachelorette” fan, and her gaze is absolutely glued to the TV when it is on, so she wants to make sure her adopters are home on Monday nights, or have a DVR, because she must know how it all ends! J She purrs at the suitors she likes, and she does this adorable low-growl when a villain comes on that she does not trust, it is just adorable! Jean-Louise would love to go home with Atticus or her sisters, as she is a social girl who loves to play with others, but would also be very content 1-on-1 with you, too.
